South Florida based photographer Michael Price is
best recognized for his quirky, off-beat editorial portraits and
trademark red sneakers. He attributes his unique vision to his Hungarian
father, Portuguese mother and adolescent upbringing in a
small, depressed town in upstate New York.
"The influences of my dysfunctional, culturally neurotic childhood have
given me this stilted out-of-whack vision of the world." Price's work appears regularly in national and international publications, among them: Barrons, Business Week, Entertainment Weekly, Golf Magazine, ESPN Magazine, Florida Trend, Forbes, Fortune, House & Garden, Newsweek, New York Magazine, Parade, People, Rolling Stone, Smart Money, Sports Illustrated, Time, Travel & Leisure and The Wall Street Journal. His corporate and annual report work for Fortune 500 Companies have garnered numerous awards and attention. He is the author of "Mike's Eye On The Island" and most recently "Thick Skull", a photographic memoir of Hudson, NY. His photographs have been exhibited at: Helander Gallery, Paul Fisher Gallery, SoHo Arts and Gallery 325 in Palm Beach, Florida. |
